I bought mine Amazon. I'd just as well get it at Ritz or Adorama.

I get my goodies at Ritz, Amazon and Adorama. It helps me keep adding to this site when you get yours from those links, too.

Focal Length: 80-200mm. Used on a DX camera it gives angles of view similar to what a 43-107mm lens would give on an FX or 35mm film camera. See also Crop Factor.

Size: 8.780"(223mm) extension from flange (focused at infinity) x 3.898" diameter.(223 x 99.0mm), measured. The focus and zoom lock knob extends an additional 0.355" (9.01mm) and is 0.554" (14.07mm) in diameter.

Weight: 4 pounds, 7 ounces (4.44 pounds, 2,010 g or 2.01 kg), measured naked. Just like weighing really fat people, I had to use a differnt scale to measure this! It porked out by just 10g over my 2,000g analytical balance's limit, so my measurement is only to the nearest 5g instead of 0.1g.

I shoot this with a Nikon 95mm L37c filter and HN-25 aluminum hood, which add another 7.170 oz. (203.3g), for a total of 4 pounds, 14 ounces (4.886 pounds, 2,213g or 2.213 kg), or almost FIVE POUNDS of glass and metal as deployed. THe 95mm filter has thick glass, which is why it weighs more than many small Nikon lenses all by itself!

Case: CL-66. INcludes a weird foam doughnut to keep rear properly positioned.

Distortion

Plug these figures into Photoshop CS2's lens distortion filter to correct the distortion. These aren't facts or specifications, they are the results of my research that requires hours of photography and calculations on the resulting data.
