This is Canon's classic professional 50mm lens for manual-focus 35mm cameras.

There also was an exotic 50mmm f/1.2 L, and of course the less expensive and more popular 50mm f/1.8, seen on millions of AE-1s.

The 50mm f/1.4 is a nice lens. It works and handles very well.
