This is a snap of a print that's sitting in his room. I put the Canon SD960 IS in Macro mode and had at it. My dad isn't really at the Pharaonic Village, he's in New York.
Today we went to the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, a museum which celebrates Long Island's rich whaling heritage.
I LOVE the Whaling museum, so we headed there today.

Last time I visited, the museum had a plaque which pointed out that most of what sailors carved in ivory while away from their families wasn't the best idea for display in a family museum. I asked where I might find the dirty scrimshaw museum, but no one knew.
I exchange for dirty scrimshaw, this certificate on display is sure to arouse a chuckle in those of you as childish as I am.
