This Minolta is fantastic; the colors as you will see just pop off the screen and match what I had on my transparency. This is why you need this scanner instead of some pathetic flatbed with similar looking specifications like the Canon D2400UF or Epson 2450. There is no specification that defines how good an image looks, and this is what you really need to know! Want to see the results? Just have a look at my Zion, Death Valley and New Mexico galleries, and know that in only one of those 100 images did I do anything to tweak the color from the original slide. All the other 99 are exactly the colors that came out of the scanner. I'm impressed, you can judge for yourself. |
